    I have used Miller's takeaway for years.Last night was first time eating in the restaurant for a birthday treat 11 people. Food was amazing as always massive fish with best curry sauce around. The service we received from the waiter was outstanding couldn't do enough for us, He is a credit to the business. Thank you

    We ordered from the app at 18:59 when we were on the motorway just coming into York. We got to Haxby at about 19:25 and we got to Millers at 19:30. We waited for 1 hour and 25 minutes for 2 cods and 1 light bite! Not only that, people arrived after us and still received their food before us. Also, they give you options on how you might want your fish to be cooked! I was going to try something new and something i hadn’t had before so i chose cod with rice flour, dipped in milk and well done. 1 hour after we ordered, they THEN tell me that i can’t have, what i have ordered! Why give me options if i can’t have them and make me wait an hour for me to find out! We have eaten from Millers before and waited a maximum of 20 minutes even when it is busy but tonight was absolutely ridiculous and terrible! Other than that, the food was very nice! If not a bit rushed but still nice! They also added 2 small cod fillets for free as well!
