Only stayed for one night for a wedding not too far away, lovely land lady very welcoming, chatty and informative, let us check in early for no additional charge, didn’t eat here but was the option for breakfast, located on quite a busy street (It was a saturday), was lucky to get parking spot just down the street but nice old building and room size good with kettle, tea/coffee and biscuits and hairdryer available. Would definitely stay here again!

Walkability: Great location. Less then a minute walk away from the beautiful market place. Food & drinks: Food and drinks were amazing had a lovely time. All staff were friendly and super welcoming. A place for tourists and locals to have a great time in a safe place.

Popped in The Bay Horse on a Saturday evening to see if we could get some food. We were given a really warm welcome,they found us a table even though they were busy but sadly when I looked at the menu there was no veggie food I could eat. But I need not have worried,the chef came out of the kitchen,sat down and explained what he could make for me. And it was amazing. Weren't staying there so can't comment on the rooms but can say the place seemed spotless and all the staff were so friendly. Would highly recommend.

The bay Horse at Masham was a very nice place to stay. The landlord was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and even though they did not serve breakfast the rooms contained fresh fruit, biscuits, drinks, muffins etc. The only downfall was the very steep staircase which led up to our room. Nearby activities: We visited sites the Black sheep brewery, well worth a visit.
