I did have the most traumatic experience I ever had at the gynaecologist at this clinic. I wouldn't want to go into too much details, but the routine examination was so painful, that I couldn't sleep two nights after and had to take pain killers. The Doctor I saw was not Claire Mellon though, so probably it would have been different. I would not recommend seeing this person to anyone, and having her in a clinic puts its reputation at a big risk.

Miss Mellon and the whole team are just amazing! Everyone is so welcoming, polite and efficient. Plus, the practice itself is just gorgeous and comfortable.I felt well taken care of throughout my pregnancy and delivery. As for Miss Mellon herself, she was absolutely great! On top of her top class skills and experience, she is such a kind and humble person. It was not easy for me to choose the obstetrician and I saw several doctors. When I met Claire, I felt very comfortable and reassured from my first appointment and I knew straight away that she should deliver my baby. She always explained everything so well and made excellent recommendations for all my issues. She led the delivery of the baby so smoothly and efficiently that it turned out to be nothing but a beautiful experience. I'm very grateful to her and the team and can't recommend her enough.

I was very fortunate to have Miss Claire Mellon as my consultant for a recent open myomectomy and I genuinely couldn't recommend her highly enough. Despite being so busy, she put me at ease and took the time to explain what would be happening, never making me feel silly for asking questions. Her bedside manner is truly second to none and her team of staff at the clinic are a credit to her. My initial Doctor at the clinic was Miss Emma Kirk, who was equally as kind and reassuring with my initial assessment before her referral to Claire Mellon who would carry out the actual procedure.

Fab experience with the whole team from reception staff, bookings team and of course the doctors. Miss Emma Kirk especially, was very attentive, sympathetic and answered all my questions. Picked up findings on a scan that was not picked up elsewhere in a previous scan. Hugely grateful to the whole team. Highly recommended. Lovely calming and comfortable waiting room was a nice bonus.

I was hoping to get some good advice from a prestigious, but I was left disappointed and shocked by the comment the Gynaecologist Emma Kirk made. I came in as a British woman with concerns regarding my fertility and PCOS concerns and left with a reminder of my ethnic background potentially being one of the reasons why I my have some symptoms without a proper examination. I explained that I may think I have PCOS which we discussed due to a previous scan and she did a pelvic exam, however I felt like when I was describing symptoms of bad skin and more hair growth on my face, these were just brushed under the carpet without even examining my skin. I was never asked to briefly take down my mask, all I was told is that this could be due to my ethnic background. I had hoped that I would be dealing with intelligent professionals in the 21st century in a clinic linked to the Portland Hospital, but I have to say that I am shocked and offended by the comment made by the consultant Emma Kirk.
