I would like to add my comments to the many commendations on this page for the Mittel Sports Injury and Therapy Clinic. I came to Debs feeling that I would never walk unaided again. The level of pain was off the scale 24 hours a day and I had seen chiropractors, osteopaths, hypnotists, neurological consultants, acupuncturists and had followed every suggestion to the letter, but NO difference at all. Living alone, I could not shop, cook or dress myself without extreme pain. Debs assured me that things would improve. When I first started treatment, walking from the car park to the clinic, a two minute walk took twenty minutes with many stops to sit on walls etc. and pain that made me almost insane and close to passing out. This last week, after only a few weeks treatment, I climbed the 99 steps to the Abbey at Whitby! I can NEVER thank Debs enough. It is not easy having these massages. They hurt, but it is so worth it!! There is no doubt that as well as being an outstandingly well qualified and experienced professional, Debs is also a healer and has a genuine compassion for everyone whatever age or injury. Every time I see people struggling. I remember what life was like before and would have still been if I had not come to Mittel. No recommendation can express the depth of my gratitude. I would urge anyone in pain to not give up and to make an appointment with Debs and her excellent team.
