We had a long unit that my wife upcycled as a kitchen island, however it was a little lower than I would have liked. Richard from Mongoose & Turtle came up with an excellent idea of putting a solid piece of wood on top to give it that little bit extra height. The next day Richard came round with several choice. We decided to go for bamboo as it had a really nice finish. Richard ordered it and installed it. Something that I wasn’t expecting was a oil kit for the new surface. A excellent touch that shows Richard’s attention to detail. We are very happy with our new worktop. I will definitely use Mongoose & Turtle again and I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks again Richard. Top job by a top bloke.
