Mr Kalkur has been an excellent, caring and very attentive gynaecologist. I saw him at Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford where he carried out a laporscopi right salpingo opherectomy. He counselled me beforehand about the procedure, explained the options for surgery available to me and helped to put my mind completely at ease about the procedure reducing my anxieties. Mr Kalkur spoke to me post operatively, checking how I was feeling and fully explaining the outcome of the surgery. Thank you so much for all your support and I'm so grateful to you for everything.

Following a period of large fibroids and a long history of endometriosis, Mr Kalkur performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and adhesiolysis on 27th September 2019 at the Wellesley Hospital Southend. From my very first consultation, Mr Kalkur's caring and understanding manner put me at ease immediately. He listened carefully to me and then talked through my options. Mr Kalkur's professionalism and personable approach helped instil my trust and reassurance in him as a surgeon. Naturally, I was very nervous about the surgery and especially around what my options were post surgery, as I would be thrust into the menopause. Again, Mr Kalkur explained all of the options in detail as well as answering any questions and concerns. He also provided me with information sheets which enabled me to make an informed decision about my pre and post surgery. One of the things that really made me feel valued as one of Mr Kalkur's patients, was that he took the time throughout my recovery to call, text or email me to ensure that I was okay and whether I had any concerns during this period. Mr kalkur also took the time to reach out to my husband to check that he was fine and understood everything. Physically, I have made a full recovery without any problems and have now been discharged by Mr Kalkur. However, I know that should I have any further concerns, he would be more than happy to pick up the phone and talk them through with me or book a further consultation.
