I visited a number of shops today in the jewellery quarter looking for a baptism gift and this was the only shop I went in where the service was worth the purchase. I wasn’t rushed or made to feel pressured as I’m an indecisive shopper. The woman who helped me was friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely shopping experience

Stunned and amazed but not in the positive sense. I visited the jewellery quarter to purchase 3 gold chains. Neweys was the first stop I made. While browsing I asked to look at the chains closer, one caught my interest and I asked if it could be weighed for me, (you know because gold is a commodity after all) however was informed I was not allowed to know the weight which was a company policy. I have been shopping at the jewellery quarter for years and have never ever come across this farce before. I couldn't believe it. Even after telling them I wouldn't buy without knowing the weight they refused, however would happily weigh for their own knowledge just couldn't tell me. I took my business a few doors down to sonny's where I had a very pleasant experience and walked out with 3gold chains and knowing the weights of all. If you want a pleasant and informed shopping experience go anywhere in the jewellery quarter but here!

Highly recommend getting your engagement ring at Newey’s. I personally like to say thanks to Bev, she really helped me with picking the ring and going through every details. Unfortunately, we had to get the ring resized as it was too large and the customer service we received here was second to none. Everything felt so personal and there was no pressure on purchasing at all. My now fiancée is very happy with the ring.
