I first used Nicola after the first lock down as I wasn't comfortable going to a big salon. She was friendly and helpful on the phone and tried to fit me in ASAP even though she was super busy. She arrived on time and gave me a really lovely cut and colour. I liked having my hair cut in the comfort of my own home and I definitely won't be going back to a salon any time soon. She's a keeper!

Nicola is an experienced, professional hair dresser who offers a convenient and well priced service. She clearly has expertise and is popular in the local area. She is knowledgable and gives great advice; I would wholly recommend her. Like many hairdressers, Nicola has had to make Covid-safe amendments, including stopping her services temporarily during the England-wide lockdown. Throughout this time she continued to offer hair advice and kept clients updated on when she could offer appointments again. We are looking forward to her services returning and know that she will practice safely. 5*, would definitely recommend!!

I first started using an at home hairdresser when I was on maternity leave, because being at home was convenient, but would never go back! I now pay less than 50% of what I did in the salon for my cut and colour, for the exact same level of finish. Nicola is an excellent hairdresser. She gives simple, straightforward and to the point advice, which I really appreciated. I knew I was in the hands of somebody that knew what they were doing and was happy to listen to what she had to say. I love my cut and colour, love having my hair done at home when I have lots to juggle and loved the experience. Could not recommend Nicola more highly!

I enquired about a cut and colour and as I have dark hair I knew it would need some lightening but I did not want to fully bleach it so was after something which would still strip back SOME of the darkness as I had read from many sources that a 30% developer would help take some of the colour off when mixed in with the tint BUT then she asked me ''ARE YOU A HAIRDRESSER?!!'' ..... I was SHOCKED as I was just ENQUIRING and did not expect such RUDENESS so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and jokingly said I read it on Google , she then got ruder and wrote back saying I should ''listen to the professional'' ( and not ( dare to ) question her!!!!!! ) which I WOULD if they WERE professional and not absolutely RUDE with me , so at this point I told her we would obviously leave the appointment and I ALREADY TOLD HER I NEEDED THE HAIR APPOINTMENT TO CHEER ME UP because I was having a hard time ..... My Dad died from Covid recently , my Autistic teenage Grandson who I care for is STRUGGLING greatly with getting himself settled back into school after the long lockdown and us shielding together for 1 year and there are various OTHER problems going on for me and I wanted a nice cut and colour as a real BOOST to my mood NOT someone so RUDE AND CONDESCENDING TO ME asking me ''Am I a hairdresser???'' how RUDE , and insensitive as I already told her I needed some sensitivity and that I lost a lot of my hair due to the STRESS of the pandemic and I needed the appointment for a mood / SELF ESTEEM BOOST - NOT to have my feelings VERY hurt on what is already a bad day for sure! :-( I notice she has another 1 star review on Yell ( with no comment ) and I wonder what other POOR SOUL SHE UPSET on there but if ANY type of SENSITIVITY and a CARING non SUPERIORITY COMPLEX because of her ''qualifications'' ( gone to her head quite obviously ) or a SHRED of EMPATHY during an extremely difficult time is what you are after then do NOT go here!!!! :-( :-(
