I use too go to dark and dinjey gig venues in the 80's it was like travelling back in time,if someone is tall and stand right infront it's difficult it was difficult to see the artist you paid your money to see but it was still good to see artists close up

Came to Manchester to see the Beths. When that was cancelled at short notice I met up with a mate and his wife to see their daughter in the band "Brand New Legs" at Night People. Lovely, smart venue with a great vibe. Bar well positioned on one side and a handy step up down the left hand side for the vertically challenged! Reminded me of the sugar mill in Hanley minus the sticky floor!
