The staff are nice, and I do like that there's an effort to offer affordable tickets. It's a beautiful old style West End theatre

Went to see the great british bakeoff which is amazeing. The staff at the theatre were very friendly and helpful. Lovely clean theatre, seats are small but I think most theatres are. Only downfall the toilets in the stalls are very small.

First visit to this theatre. Located on St Martins Lane, London WC2. (Also, backs on to Wyndham's Theatre). As with many theatres of this age, the entrance is quite small, and bag searching, or rather glancing, takes place outside the building. There are lots of stairs to negotiate whether going up to Circles or down to the Stalls where we were seated. Large bar serving the usual mix of alcoholic and soft drinks (at West End prices) passed on the way down. Seats were quite nicely tiered, apart from the front few rows, and where the tiering was smaller seats were offset to help with the view. The seats themselves were covered in a fabric that made small adjustments for comforts quite difficult. The show we saw lasted two hours thirty-five minutes, including a fifteen minute interval. At the end of the show, lots of ways out were opened up and so getting out was not too bad.

"Good things come to those that bake" Who would have thought a musical about the Bake off would be so delightfully sweeet! I went to this show, on what thought was a recommendation from a friend, to realise I had dreamt that recommendation instead. Oh well...I was so pleasantly pleased it was uplifting, just what I needed, the songs are original and nicely moved the story along. They touch a little on emotional subjects such as loss and infertility...but not so much to bring you to tears. (But to be fair, I am dead inside) But great performances about friendship, crushes and of course cake. The ticket price were not unreasonable, I was in row N and got a good view of the stage. I felt there a little more leg room then other theatres and felt cleaner too. Just to note I am 5"2 so taller people might say otherwise. I wish there was somewhere to put your drink though. The bar outside, the cocktail choice was limited to just 2 and kinda small for a tenner and came from a bottle. I do recommend treating yourself to cupcake...which I ate two gigantic bites 😋 I went for unicorn one. This show finishes soon so I would be quick if going to you want to watch it. This definitely is a show you can get lost in for little while and embrace a happy place. Also you don't have to be a Bake off uber fan to enjoy it. I took some pictures at the end of the cast and band but not of the show to respect of theatre policy.
