I was encouraged to try chiropractic through pregnancy by a friend after complaining of pelvis/back pain. It had become utterly debilitating to the point of me being unable to do usual activities, walk far or sit for long periods at work. I have to admit being skeptical of the benefits as I didn't know much about it. I'm a medical professional myself and had assumed physiotherapy would have helped more, and for me personally, physio hadn't. Going to the O'Connor's practice has honestly changed my life. This is my second pregnancy in 2 years (being at the end of my third trimester) and I feel healthier than I did before I fell pregnant. I have always experienced back pain after working in healthcare for many years and I've been fortunate, with treatment, to experience little to no pain since being properly adjusted from 18 weeks. It has meant being able to run around after my toddler and continue to work up to 36 weeks pregnant. I can't thank them enough. As a side note, I also find the staff very personable and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone experiencing issues through pregnancy and anyone looking for chiropractic treatment that actually works.
