Absolute rip off! Do not use this store! I came here looking for material for an outfit to wear for a friends wedding- I chose a roll of material that was labelled £25 a metre - I told the sales lady how much material I would need as advised by my seamstress- she then told me I needed more material than my seamstress had advised? I don’t know a lot about materials so I told her ok- I asked her how much was the total- she then told be the material I had chosen was actually £35 a metre! I told her it said £25 on the label- she told me the label was wrong!! I was little shocked but then told her ok- I chose another roll for another outfit which I double checked was £25 a metre- I then asked what was the total price for two suits…. She told me she would pack them and then tell me the price? Her son then packed them and told me total was £250!!!! I was so shocked!!! I asked him how was that worked out- he mumbled me the breakdown and said if I didn’t have enough cash I could use a card machine nearby!!!! I was so embarassed and shocked I paid and quickly left. I left very upset as if I had been robbed! I wish I had the courage to turn down the sale but the man said he had already cut the material! Surely they should tell you the price for the whole outfit before they cut it??? I fell as if they make up their own prices and I could never recommend this shop! I will never return and will go back to soho road in future to the small shops with decent ethnical owners!
