Ruin of the old Wentworth Church, part is still under cover and normally would be open but unfortunately today it was not. But if you are interested in graves from a historical point of view the attached grave yard is a absolute gem, with some amazing Victorian graves and an absolutely huge one to the local Fitzwilliam brothers who built the area.

What an amazing old place. It's been well preserved over the years, and some of the graves date back to the early 1800's. It's a very quaint area in general, it adds to the historic Wentworth area.

Former Church with some fantastic headstones in the cemetery. The church wasn't open when I visited and no information when it is on the notice board or website. The path does have a few tree roots crossing which may be an issue for some. There is a free car park on Church Field lane past the school if you can't park near the church

Lovely ruin parts of which we're brought from Monk Bretton Priory in the 17th century.

Found this just by chance. Really worth a visit if you have some time. Went inside but part was closed to visitors. Will go back to see the rest. Cost nothing but donation accepted.
