I went a week ago to optical express in Chelmsford to have eye surgery on both eyed , multi focus lens put in , yes I was a bit scared but as soon as I got there I was put at ease one in surgery I felt relaxed and it was over in no time, the aftercare was very good I’m still going back for 2 more visit , I would definitely recommend optical express to anyone who is fed up with wearing glasses , it’s fantastic iv 20/20 vision , my husband is hoping to have it done next year

Very helpful staff. Procedure totally painless and over very quickly. The recocery time was amazing with no discomfort at all. Aftercare very good. The only downside was the 2 hour delay before the surgery.

Only open on Wednesday and always over booked so expect to be sat in little more that an office space above a shop for up to an hour waiting for your 10 minute checkup. Laser eye surgery......not in Colchester. The closest Optical Express to provide the surgery is Norwich or London which isn't ideal when you cant see after the operation and have to find your way home. Double check the details of any deal they advertise because they have a reputation for advertising deals on their website that their stores have already been instructed to withdraw. They took a deposit from me and phoned me a week later to ask for more money then was agreed.
