Was in a fix when i got let down from other circumstances trying to get some halal lamb for making a special dinner for my works colleagues leaving day. Phoned up Pars as i couldnt believe they opened so late and to check if they had any halal lamb before i made the journey. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Gentleman on phone told me they would put one aside so was ready for when I arrived. Being an ex butcher myself im naturally a bit selective when it comes to buying meat. They brought me out a beautiful whole shoulder (halal brand present, which is great as i am cooking for my Muslim friends, I myself am not Muslim so is really importanto me that i can show them i got it right!) Price was brilliant only 15 pounds for a whole shoulder. Thank you so much

My mate went here for goat meat and they gave him lamb when he asked for goat 4 times to make it clear if they can’t tell the difference between animal meat then they shouldn’t be selling meat
