You have to pay now, but there haven’t been any improvements since the installation of meters. At least provide an EV charger? What are we paying for? The car park is only busy in summer, they should remove parking fees in the off season.

Used to be a great place to park to walk the river, always well maintained with bonus of toilets. Local council has imposed relatively small parking charges to fund other works however be aware their installed machines only accept cash or pay by an app, not able to pay by contactless payments. Left to park elsewhere as had no cash and app refused to work.
