Peak eBikes (Shane) today did an amazing job of sorting a very difficult maintenance problem with a road-bike: the level of bicycle-repair knowledge, capability and professionalism was exceptional (I suspect that's a result of the the quality of the staff and their experience of service and maintenance from keeping a fleet of hire-bikes rolling). I whole heartedly recommend their maintenance and service quality.

Bikes were in good conditions and staff were friendly. However, it was quite expensive. 2 bikes with a trailer for 2 hours, it costs us close to £50. We just can't afford to go there again even though we loved the ride and scenery. I guess we are walking next time.

Rude staff and overpriced. Not offered helmets and bikes were unsuitable for us. It’d be nice to be able to choose a bike rather than have one given to you. Total tourist trap.

Highly recommend the service at peak ebikes. We have hired bikes which have been of a high standard and the staff explained to us how to use them. I have taken bikes here for repair snd service and have always us found the staff knowledgable, professional and friendly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely use peak ebikes again. If I could give zero stars, I would. Where do I begin? The service from the start was horrendous, the older chap working there spoke to us in an extremely rude manner but I gave him benefit of doubt. From there, he gave us the incorrect directions for the trail which led to me overrunning my 2 hour booking by only 30 mins. When we returned, he stated that he is going to charge us for 4 hours and when we explained to him that we were given wrong directions by himself which led us to being 30 mins late, he stated that he didn’t care and it was our fault. Seemed like he purposely told us the wrong directions just to charge us extra. Like most people that visit there, we are not from the area so are relying on them to guide us. Looking in hindsight, there are lots of bike hire shops around the area and I definitely will be visiting one of them. Avoid going here and definitely avoid any interaction with the older chap.
