Bunions + Morton Neuroma = no running Consultation + two pairs of made to measure orthotics = pain free running! When given the choice of surgery or orthotics, I chose orthotics. I want pain-free running not months of convalescence!! My visit to see Christophe was enlightening to say the least. Christophe was soon putting my shoes and trainers in the good and bad pile and then the real exciting stuff happens. Totally made to measure, intricate measurements, scans and moulds. After not running for 3 years, I'm super chuffed with myself and have completed three 5km runs in 10days. They were ugly and slow and it was hard work BUT, I was pain free!!! Christophe, thank you for giving me my feet back! Thank you for not judging my footwear choices. Thank you for advising me on my future footwear choices. Knowledge, experience, skills, passion, professionalism ,charm, all of which Christophe has in abundance. 10 months after a complex foot injury requiring ORIF, metal work & a second operation for metals removal & months in pain & severe mobility restrictions I limped my way to PODO in pain , Christophe examined the foot, took down the history of the injury, listened, really listened & 90 minutes later I walked out of PODO with the custom made orthotic insoles without pain & standing up tall, 2 months later & as my foot recovers & changes happen Christophe has been there for me, supporting me with sound advise & supporting my foot on the way to recovery, making modifications to the orthotic insoles as & when needed, always providing sound and accurate advise on how to move forward, be it shoe wear or recommending health professionals which therapies are of help & above all listening, observing, empathising, explaining the why & how of what he does . To say I highly recommend him is not enough, if it wasn't for his expertise, skills & professionalism I would still have constant pain & restricted mobility, thanks to him I can walk without pain & good gait. WOW! I'm sure I'm not the first when I say as an English person I had no clue about Orthotics. Since I have been referred to PODO I have not looked back. ZERO hip or knee pain anymore. On my 90 minute appointment I watched my custom handmade Orthotics come to life in front of my very eyes. But it is also informative, and I felt I learned so much.
