    The customer agents answering your WhatsApp number are highly unprofessional and rude. He/she had the audacity to tell me that they won’t waste their time sending me apartment options if it’s not within my budget. All what I said was please show me all the best options and I shall decide on what suits me( I mentioned my travel dates and location I was interested in) Such employees are giving your prestigious company a bad name. If it was such a huge problem to send across a few options, he could have politely said so. But I don’t understand…. Isn’t this what he is paid for? It’s his job right ?     Portland Brown has deliberately taken advantage of the UK Coronavirus Government Regulations to evade rent although they are legally obliged to pay. The company has shown no responsibility to its landlords, and I would strongly advise all landlords who might be offered a contract with Portland Brown to NOT RENT their property out to them. For all landlords who have rented with Portland Brown, I urge you to take them up to court legally and claim the rent you are owed, no matter who large or small the sum is. It is a legal obligation to which they avoided; and this is a prime example of when tenants (especially companies) can take advantage of landlords as well.

    I stayed 2 years ago, at Kirby street and received a significant refund as a result of how poor my overall experience was. The internet would not work for the majority of the time, and when I called to have it serviced I was called a liar. The heat was on during my entire stay in the middle of summer, and it took half of my stay for Portland Brown to resolve this issue. Portland Brown became a make-work project, which is disappointing given the fact they promote a seamless experience. I had reached out to Portland Brown during the stay to rectify all issues however they failed to do so. I find it patronising to reach out in the comment section two years after my experience and review in attempt to nullify my negative experience through stating you have no record of my stay. John

    Excellent experience with Portland at short notice organising a place to quarantine after arriving back in the UK. Quick and efficient payment, forms and key drop during lockdown. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the location was great. Issues were dealt with promptly and comms were always excellent. Only thing letting them down was the apartment was not finished to a high standard with cracks and scuffs on the walls. It felt like home for 14 days.
