I take my horse as an "out patient" to use the water treadmill and the hydrotherapy spa. My horse is an ex racer with an old bowed tendon injury that used to flair up a couple of times a year resulting in a few days off work. Since we've been using the spa, we've had no flair ups and the injury is barely noticeable. My horse was nervous the first couple of times in the spa, but Marie and Abbie were amazing with him and he now loves his visits. The water treadmill has also worked wonders for him - he is like a different horse. Also he was diagnosed with mild KS in summer 2014 (one spot only) and was injected once. He's needed no other vet treatment since then and I fully believe it is the effects of the water treadmill that mean I have a horse that I can continue to ride, and who is happy to be ridden without vet intervention and drugs. I can't thank, nor praise, Marie and Abbie highly enough and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others - even injury free horses will benefit from their services.

I have used both the rehab facilities and the part livery as well. My pony came to Priory for box test and rehab for a broken splint bone. He stayed for seven months starting with box rest, then going on the walker and then individual turnout. Vet said after his rehab he would have passed a 5 stage vetting. I then returned 18 months later as a part livery when they took us at short notice. Marie and Abbie like to get to know the horses they care for very well, they treat the horses as individuals being able to cater for native ponies who need weight control as well as poor doers who need lot of feeds/grass. As they know the horses so well they spot any changes in behaviour and possible ailments quickly. I know that if I can't get to the yard due to work or other commitments my pony will be well cared for.

Priory Farm has saved my life! They took in my lame horse, who needed 3 months box rest, on very short notice. They have lovely staff and Marie the owner is brilliant - so helpful and she really cares about the horses and helping them to get better. My horse is always groomed and super chilled and happy whenever I visit him. He is so relaxed there, and very happy on box rest due to the staff and the calm environment he is in. He is in a stable which overlooks the arena so gets to see everyday riding and life, which means he is never bored! If I had another horse on box rest I would 100% send them there, as I know they are well looked after and they are amongst other horses in the same situation, so it becomes normal for them to stay in a stable day and night! The spa is also fabulous!!

My horse has been fantastically well cared for at Priory Farm on rehab livery. Through careful rehab work he has avoided needing surgery for his kissing spine, and is now strong and comfortable in his back. The team at Priory have worked seamlessly with all vets and other equine health professionals to ensure that the rehab work is perfectly tailored to his needs, and it's been a great success. As an owner, I always feel comfortable and relaxed knowing that my horse's care will be managed extremely well in my absence, and my horse has never been happier. In fact, he's been so happy here that I can't bear to move him, even though he's now fully rehabilitated! I can't recommend the rehab livery here highly enough.
