    Would never use them again or recommend them. Good points: Person who arrived to treat the woodworm in my house was friendly and polite. Bad points 1. All their quoted figures exclude VAT so you have to remember to add that on (not a biggie but not very helpful for non vat registered people) 2. They showed up to do the treatment but were unable to carry it out as I had not lifted the floorboards in the room they were treating (this was mentioned within the 5 page recommendation report but had not been made obvious to me by the inspector) - I had been verbally told I would need to lift the carpets, nothing more. 3. I then had to ask them to provide a quote to lift the floorboards as well (as I did not have the time or tools to do so) and I feel they should have offered this service at the beginning. 4. I got quoted an extra £110 + VAT to lift and replace the floorboards (on top of the £170 + VAT to treat the room). When I queried the level of price for this work I was told it was 'very labour intensive'. 5. On the day when I spoke to the person carrying out the treatment and asked how long it would take to do it all, I was told that it would probably be about 1 hour. So in my books I am feeling rather ripped off! 6. I phoned up to pay my bill shortly after receiving their invoice only to be told that they do not accept credit card payment. Life then got a bit busy with Christmas and travelling and I forgot to log onto my internet banking to make the payment. 7. I was then chased up by the credit controller after a few weeks (rightfully so) and explained the fact that I had tried to make payment by card, had been refused and had then forgotten but that I would do it today. After making it clear that I would make payment immediately, this credit controller still found it necessary to have a go at me rather than just saying: 'thank you'. In my eyes, this company is a complete rip off and their staff have obviously not been trained on how to chase debts politely and deal with people in a human like manner.

    Said they would come around 8.30 - waited and waited -went to my mobile and saw a missed call - cancelled 15 minutes before the appointment but left me a voice mail!! Child late to school for no reason - . Then they said no one could come round until Monday !! Poor service.

    I have retired to a Swanage apartment built in 1920s which developed damp in side wall. ,Prokil surveyor Jason confirmed our problem in pragmatic fashion . Two estimates obtained and Prokil Bournemouth arrived bright & early on agreed morning in May 2016. Carl and Craig removed damaged plaster,treated walls,revamped damp course, re-plastered walls and replaced the original skirting boards with great care.They put in a tough 2 days finishing off cleaning all surfaces and our polished wooden floor by hand !!!. Unphased by extra electrical duties. Carl kept me appraised of the different processes and progress and removed all rubbish,leaving room and their access route cleaner than when they arrived.Had several meetings with damp builders in my life but Prokil -Jason Carl Craig and office girls-beats them all. A very helpful & professional bunch Good value as well. Pat Tansey
