Met Vanessa the owner at the Portabello branch and I was enquiring about a nose piercing. Such a lovely lady explained everything on detail abd even suggested the piercing 😍 . The establishment clean, professional and knowledgeable which made me safe as it is my first time. I plucked my courage last week and visited the Camden Branch met with Gabi who is the piercing specialist and her colleague Bridget. I told them it's my first time and I am scared of needles, Gabi was so thorough step by step what she would do how and I had a little wobble they were great knew what to do and I felt better after 15mins , then Gabi explained about all the cleaning procedure and wrote everything down. A superb business caring staff and the owner Vanessa recognised me as she popped in and had a lovely chat. Please support your local small business owner🙏 🤲

My mum got her Tragus pierced at this place, and although the lady was very nice, it was clear she didn’t know very much about or had very little experience piercing. A couple days after her ear was pierced, even though she was cleaning her ear with sterile saline at least twice a day, her piercing got extremely infected and it was embedded/engulfed in her ear. We went to another, trusted, piercing parlour where the piercer said she had never seen a piercing this bad in a while and that the side of my mum’s face had actually been pierced instead of her ear. Hence the excruciating pain my mum felt as she was pierced and several days after. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I came to this piercing branch in Camden to get a lip piercing and navel. Staff were very polite but the piercing was delivered unprofessionally. Lip piercing has fortunately now healed well after having to go to another shop to get the bar changed, it was pierced without a clamp (which is how it’s meant to be but i didn’t know this at the time) resulting in it not being pierced straight and is wonky through my lip. I then got my belly pierced after this. There is a notable lack of privacy to the public whilst getting this done too, the chair to lie in being placed right in front of huge large windows. Piercer checked positioning before piercing, i agreed to it not knowing a thing about what would be too high or too low. proceeded to carry out the piercing, and then take it out and pierce me again as she said the positioning was in fact wrong - but only when i asked “are you doing it again?” she said that she was - she was half way through piercing my naval twice without even telling me. I had to pay an extra £20 or so for a specific naval jewellery with a star - i didn’t think this would be a problem but the healing process cause the point of the stat to dig into me and cut and change shape of my belly button. also!! the jewellery started to rust and then caused such a bad infection to my stomach that it went black. After going to a different piercer for advice - they told me the wrong type of jewellery finish & shape had been used. I now have a very bad scar.
