There was a MOUSE running around! We told staff who apologised but didn't seem to do anything about it running around under the tables. We quickly got the bill and left!

Went there for breakfast as it’s conveniently located right outside Liverpool Street Station. It’s one of the few non-franchised places around the busy station so it was great to sit inside and have some proper food. It’s great if you find yourself in the area and want to sit somewhere close to the station.

It was a lunch time pleasure. Peaceful green surroundings with creative tasty food . Rumour has it that it morphs into something much more lively around tea time .

Food was okay at best but service was terrible. They sit you down and forget you’re even there when it wasn’t even busy and when asking for a bill they forget as well and start clearing tables instead. And when you say you don’t want to pay service charge they are confused. Do better.

Cocktails are lightweight for the price, and service is slow and awkward; but the buttery oxtail tagliatelle makes up for all: really exceptional for 18 quid.
