    We were new to Farnham and thought it would be nice to support an independent local business. We placed an order for carpet for our whole house. We were told by Rangers that our chosen carpet was good quality and we paid a lot for it. It was a disappointing experience. The carpet supplied feels thin and cheap under foot, and quickly looked old on the stairs despite the fact that we dont wear shoes in the house. There is a very untidy seam in the sitting room. When we complained, we were told our expectations were too high. As an interior designer, i knew the seam was unacceptably bad and Rangers eventually agreed to replace it or compensate us but they were slow to offer this. To sum up, the carpets in our previous house, supplied and fitted 13 years ago by a small independent carpet fitter, still look and feel better than these 5 year old carpets supplied and fitted by Rangers.
