I asked for a meeting with Refresh Renovations and told them very specifically, my requirements. A meeting was scheduled for 10am today. This DID NOT take place. I was offered a “zoom” meeting this morning just before my appointment. This was not what I wanted ; ( I prefer “face to face “ rather than zoom, to be able to get a real “ feel” about the person and the company.) The zoom offer came after I had re-scheduled an already busy day, so my time had already been allocated…. and my morning was wasted. The reason Sophia did not turn up was because of “childcare problems” apparently, ( not child illness.”) If this was a professional company, then childcare would not be an issue, … it should NOT be an issue. I was told that it would take “ a while for her to get across Leeds,” but as she had not even set off this was of no relevance. The point is…. You make an appointment and you TURN UP…. end of…. No excuses. That’s professional. If there are extenuating circumstances then you reschedule BEFORE the day you are meant to arrive. We are ALL busy people with commitments Sophie, not just you I’m afraid. I had already stipulated that the bathroom layout would be unchanged in a previous phone call, but was really angry to learn that because I was not using Sophie’s “ design service,” THAT I COULD NO LONGER HAVE A QUOTE OR THE JOB DONE!! So that was it for me. No quote, no work, no hope of a new bathroom and two en suites. WHAT A JOKE!! I had previously given my timescale and was told this was possible but it seems that I was misled about this too, as the “ one month start” was now estimated to be “ at least 3 months” …….as “it was difficult to get workmen to a particular timescale.” I thought that was the whole point of having a “ project managed” job done!! Apparently all their workmen ( which are not employed by them, so they are reliant on them being available) were working on “different projects! “ To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I am now another 3 weeks on and no nearer any work being done. I feel that this company REALLY MISLEADS on what it offers and on its promises. I could have gone independently to a bathroom company myself, but thought that I would save the “ hassle” by having it all project managed. BIG MISTAKE!! Also… a big mistake for the company because had they been reliable I could have kept them busy for a considerable time as we have several other properties that need future renovation.

We requested for Refresh to come and quote for our Garage conversion. Sophia was very responsive and booked us in. Sophia was very easy to communicate with and although we decided not to proceed further on our project for other reasons, we were very impressed with her professionalism and the Refresh project process. We will be very much using Refresh for our future building projects.
