Most will think before 5 stars are awarded to a venue of any kind. Well talking to a stranger who had driven one hour to eat at this wonderful Sportsmans arms made the recommendation sound to be the place to eat if you really want to enjoy superbe service, food and setting. Menu can be seen online and prices for staying in this old but tastefully decorated and garden layout. It's just one of those places one will never forget. We went back the next day for lunch it was that good the night before. Not the lowest in price but not the most expensive either, and the food quality is as the saying goes. You get what you pay for.

Excellent pub / restaurant Are there on consecutive days. Good selection of beer and other drinks at the bar. Food was excellent- my favourite was the venison. The photo is the lamb A bit more expensive than your normal pub Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful
