My wife had very painful shoulder. Robert Moverley was very reassuring and diagnosed Rotater Cuff damage. This was from an old cycling accident. He recommended and carried out keyhole surgery, followed by physiotherapy. This has resulted in a significant improvement. She is very happy with the outcome.

He quickly arranged for a procedure whilst keeping me informed of the process at each step. Having had shoulder pain for the best part of a year after partially dislocating it, the pain was increasing in intensity & having an impact on my ability to function in daily activities, at work and socially, I was referred to Rob Moverley via my GP. After seeing Mr Moverley and having a number of imaging investigations, he discussed shoulder arthroscopy, anterior stabilisation & subacromial decompression, which he went on to perform at the BMI Harbour Hospital privately mid September 2021. I would not hesitate to return to Mr Moverley should the need arise in the future & have recovered very well from the surgery with Mr Moverley's help & a fantastic physio (Hayley & her team) which he referred me to, East Cliff Therapy. Mr Moverley's secretary, Fiona, is extremely helpful, & I cannot fault the care that I have received from the surgical team, care staff, administration, etc. When he asked how my shoulder was doing at my final appointment, well it's just magic. I cannot believe that the pain I had in the front of my shoulder has completely gone, movement is returning and strength will come back.

I was impressed with the care and treatment I received from Mr Moverley after a mountain bike accident. He understood the need to get me back on the bike and to the other sports I love as soon as possible. He was very understanding, put me at ease and explained the options clearly so that together we agreed on the preferred treatment. My operation was organised promptly and the entire experience was smooth and reassuring. I was impressed by my speed of recovery and healing of a very tidy scar. Whilst I hope not to inflict a similar injury on myself in future, should it happen I would have no hesitation in seeing Mr Moverley.

I Broke my collar bone in Canada in a snowboarding accident and had surgery that didn’t go to plan and 4 weeks later it broke again and moved the bar in my shoulder. When I moved back to the uk I had surgery and it now feels amazing and now have full movement of my arm and that is all down to Mr Moverley. He was very welcoming and was happy to walk me through the steps of what is going to happen in the surgery. An hour before surgery he came in and that helped calm my nerves. I would highly recommend this surgeon.

Mr Moverly diagnosed a rotator cuff tear in the shoulder which had been causing pain and restricted movement for some time. He was able to conduct the operation in a pretty quick turnaround with a full explanation of what he had done, what to expect. I'm still working with physio but extremely pleased with the progress I've made. Would highly recommend.
