Park itself lovely- the female staff in the cafe very rude and unhelpful . Mother , toddler , 3 kids and 2 pensioners- we Queued up for 20 mins and spent an absolute fortune but we Forgot to add a bottle of water to our order so while still at the till we asked to add the water while we were still waiting for our other drinks n food to be given and the very rude waitress said "no you have to go right to the back of the queue and start queuing again. So we queued for another 15 mins while our tea went cold . Really rude and obnoxious staff .

A beautiful and interesting park. Very well kept and worth a visit. Shall definitely visit again. I didn't understand why on a lovely Friday morning in May the pedalo boats and the island were not open, feel we missed out there.

Pleasant walking area with lots of seating viewing the lake. Never seen the waterfall working, but it would be a nice feature if working. Lots of grey squirrels and at time we went, mother ducks with their very cute ducklings. Woodland area is shady and pleasant, especially if you want to cool down or walk dog in hot weather. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leads welcome. The woodland area is a welcome bonus on a hot day as it's shady enough to walk your dog.
