A 2nd visit this month, again with grandchildren, with one that had never paddle boarded and was a bit nervous but after a bit of training and encouragement soon picked it . Very helpful pleasant helpful staff , thank you. One point they kids meantimes the changing rooms were “rank” ! Did not check myself and this might of been a one off but it could put people off and it’s not really excusable these days !

Had great couple of hours with stand up boards and kayaking. Never done SUP before but staff member spent 5 minutes giving brief instruction, she was very good. Myself and daughter both managed to stand up and paddle, and fell in of course countless times. Very friendly and reasonably priced. It is first come first served and can be busy with kids group activities being run.

My family thought booking a pedalo last Saturday. Booked for 3.30pm, turned up on time, none available, had to wait 25 mins before we got one. Staff claiming other customers had over run their time and there's nothing they could do. Once in the pedalo, one of pedals broke, poor quality and although the female staff member was very apologetic. The while system wasn't her fault. I wasn't offered a refund despite the fact the pedalo broke. I asked for her manager to call me on Monday, this didn't happen. I'm not the pedalo was even safe to have a 2 adults and 2 children as there was no suitable.space for my kids. Overall a disappointing experience for my kids. There's so many other great things to do around the area, I'd advise people to think twice .

I have 3 disabled children who require a carer each to be able to take part in activities. With this in mind, I called Rockley Watersports in advance, to book our visit to ride on the pedalos. I was told that the pedalos did not need to be booked in advance, and that we should just turn up. I double checked that this would be the case, even if we wanted to take out 3 boats. I was assured that I should just turn up when we wanted to ride, and directed to the website, which gave the same information. On that basis, I booked 2 carers to help me and we all went to Poole Park to take the trip that the kids were super excited about. When we arrived, we were told that we should have booked. I was cross that I had hired carers, but asked to book for the next day instead. Then I was told that I wasn't able to book in advance, but I needed to turn up "first thing in the morning" to book for the afternoon. Unfortunately, it simply isn't possible to hang around all day with people with disabilities, and it would require hiring carers again, so due to the, frankly, bizarre and discriminatory "booking system", my children will miss out on this activity. I have not yet received a response to my email regarding this matter. I would strongly recommend against using this facility.
