Honestly not sure how this company have so many good reviews, I can only think they have paid people to leave them. Last April Route 66 sent me to MAC Studios for my test shoot and interview, where I was informed that I had made it on to their books and was so built up that I spent £700 on a portfolio. I then didn't hear anything from Route 66 for almost 2 weeks, I rang them several times but kept getting voicemail and eventually got an email 2 weeks on (by this time I had worked out that it was all a scam) *FOR ANY ASPIRING MODEL THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT* Route 66 Models is NOT an agency, they are most likely paid by MAC Studios to send them gulible models and all they will do is send you a list of agencies you should apply to after - all of which recommend on their sites that you should only upload natural images of yourself as that's all they need. They warn that you SHOULD NOT purchase a portfolio as your portfolio will get built from jobs if you get signed. My confidence was knocked massively after this, I felt conned, gullible and honestly like I was an idiot for even beleiving I was good enough. Do not use this company!

Send you to get photos done you have an “interview” to day they would like to recommend you to go on Route 66 books. When you say you don’t want their photos they put pressure on you. They say they will still accept your own portfolios however they don’t get back to you. You never hear another word they don’t respond to emails. Con!

The Route 66 models team are great i really could not recommend them more every single time I've had contact with them its been great.. I will be honest i had read some negative reviews about them online however in the fashion industry there is always bitter people that will write negative comments people can be super bitchy.. What's best about the Route 66 Models is that it is transparent and they walk you through every step of the way. If you want to get a good start and guidance in modelling career.
