It’s not bad for the price. Clean and quiet, no frills accommodation. Bed was a bit saggy in the middle so not the best but I’ve slept in worse. Bathroom was clean and the shower was a electric power shower. Breakfast was continental. All fresh and plenty of it but about £8 for what was there is a tad steep. Also, be aware they charge for parking in the hotel car park.

Foul rooms, £6 for parking. Dirty, dingy, showers have little to no pressure - all in all an absolute steer-clear Rooms: The linen had hairs on it, the decor is many years old, we found a half drunk bottle of water and a finished toilet roll. Disgusting.

Budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The staff were all very friendly so can't fault them. The room was very small and cramped. It was clean and had tea and coffee. Shower room was tiny and water pressure very low. So for a place to spend the night without splashing out too much it is ok but I won't be returning. Rooms : 2/5 | Service : 3/5 | Location : 4/5 … More

I stayed in a single room here for several days while going to a convention at another hotel near the NEC. It was clean, good water pressure in the shower, and the person staffing the hotel was friendly. I was offered fresh tea and milk etc and housekeeping every day though didn't take them up on it. I did not buy the breakfast so I can't vouch for or against it. It's worth knowing that if you're thinking "this doesn't seem that close to the NEC", then you're right. If you do not have a car then you will need to take a taxi if you don't want to be at the whims of public transport. However considering the price of the hotel reflects the distance it's not that bad - just set your expectations accordingly. I do think you could walk it, but it's a long way by foot and in the end I didn't try. I have seen some reviews that claim the hotel is a house and not a hotel. This isn't true. It's obviously a hotel from the inside and outside, it just isn't shaped like a brick. I can kind of understand how it might give that impression, and it's possible that it was converted at one point or another, but nothing about the size or layout of the building implies "house". If you are from a place with more hotels of this type then you will recognise what it is. Overall, staying here was a positive experience and good value for money.
