A very clean and tidy site excellent shower block (adult side) under floor heating and piped music always spotless a credit to the wardens, choice of hard standing or grass and all full serviced pitches, a secure site with pass cards for barriers and side gates, a swimming pool on site if booked is private session only, the wardens are very helpful and nothing is to much bother for them to try and help with, one of my favourite sites Nearby activities: Rutland Water, water sports, nearby very good public houses for food

Lovely site. Friendly and helpful. Has a little shop, a lovely food/restuaurant/cafe. You can't buy alcohol but you can get ake your own for a corkage fee. Very clean. Play area was fab and is central which is a huge plus. Quiet and peaceful. Dog walk close by and a nice size. Walking distance to village with pubs. Oh and also has swimming pool but we didn't manage to get a spot. Would definitely go back.

Food & drinks: The restaurant is excellent. Noteworthy details: We were on the Adult only part of the campsite. The cubicles were spacious, shower hot and adjustable, and - believe it or not - had underfloor heating.

Staff seem to let a little bit of power go to their heads , it's a campsite but feels like a detention centre! We booked on the phone and were told that a tent next to our vw camper was fine - oh no chance when we arrived, had to pay for another pitch to put a small tent on , fire rules apparently! My fault for having an explosive tent I suppose.
