I went here after seeing some other low value ratings on restaurants I've been to. I did get this mixed up with Royal Court which Google proclaimed to be at the same location... So lucky for Ruyi. Honestly, the second best prawn toast I've ever had. The best curry sauce in London and pretty damn good rice and salt & pepper chicken. The staff were accommodating and while there was no table immediately, it was a pleasant wait where my order was even sent to the kitchen so I didn't have to wait long. The food was fresh and hot. I did see some frozen stuff going on, but I didn't get that. I believe some other reviews could be for other properties or people with an axe to grind. I was very happy with my experience.

Got a takeaway last night because I’m working down here. I’ve got to say it was one of the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Dumplings were rubbery charging nearly £6 for 4 I would expect fresh ones, But no watched person at the front go straight Into the freezer and grab 4 out of a shop bought packet, and the duck in the noodles looked grey the sauce had no flavour what a load of rubbish don’t bother going!

This place is just decent. Char siu pork was pretty good, dumplings were ok. Duck had good flavor but was mostly bones and fat it was like we were served the trimmings - disappointing. The house made chili oil was excellent which was great because the dishes were bland and a little too sweet on their own. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive, nothing extreme there. We were only allowed seating on the condition that we ordered $10 per person which for three people is somewhat scummy and suspicious to me. Overall price was expensive but not outrageous. Not a bad experience but better restaurants on the same street.

(Translated by Google) Having known this restaurant 7 years ago when I was living in London, I went back with a group of friends during our stay and thought it was a safe bet. We ordered starters (dim sum, spring rolls and fried calamari) the calamari was thick and very rubbery, the spring rolls had no flavor to declare and the chicken dim sum was not the same as the shrimp dim sum and tasted awful which has left a harsh and sour taste on my tongue for almost 24 hours. I tasted a piece of one with the urge to spit it out. The waitress confirmed that it was indeed chicken dim sum but the taste was very strong and the smell foul. I think the food there is very questionable and I am very disappointed. So we asked for the bill in order to leave and the time to pay and get dressed we were asked to leave to free the table. Staff (upstairs) cold, unpleasant, unsmiling and disinterested. In addition, I had not consulted the Google rating of 2.9 out of confidence because I used to go there often before, but it is therefore very representative! Avoid completely. A fuir totalement.

Not a bad candidate for a quick lunch if you are craving Cantonese food and happen to be in this neighbourhood. We ordered wonton noodle soup, roast duck with rice and beef ho fen. They delivered food very quickly and the flavour of food is okay. The roast duck is bit sweet and will suit people with sweet tooth better. The price is fair for the items we got as well. All in all, I will call it a safe choice if you cannot come up with other lunch ideas.
