I have had a lot of Korean food before. Somehow this did not live up to the standards. The most noticeable thing is that the food seems to be under seasoned. It was mostly bland. Even the kimchi tasted bland, which is very unusual since it's fermented with several condiments, vegetables, and a lot of salt. The only flavourful dish was the Kalbitang, to which they forgot to give me the rice that was paired with it. The fried chicken was edible, but bland and dry. I am not sure if they used chicken thighs or breast. I've had KFC a lot of times before and I make it myself plenty of times as well. It never tastes like this. They either do not marinate the chicken before frying (which will dry out the chicken, if not fried properly, and make it taste bland), or something is wrong. Overall, the food is edible and the portion sizes are decent (although pretty expensive - £80+ for 3 small dishes and 4 bigger dishes). There is room for improvement in terms of flavour and seasoning though. Also, please prioritise checking if all the orders are in the bag. It's a hassle having to request a refund. Note: I ordered via deliveroo.

When I opened the pack I could already smell strong sourness and had to try one to see if its just the smell of the pickled radish or not. Well, taste was worse then the smell and rice was very hard and cold as if it was not freshly made. It was such a disappointment as I ordered those for my sick friend and guess I could've made it way worse. Koreans, even if this is the only restaurant open late at night, I hope you don't use it. I am very curious about how to manage ingredients so that kimbap can rest like that. be careful. We paid just under £50 pounds for two meals to be delivered. It’s honestly the worst takeaway experience I’ve had for a long time. Dry, tasteless meat, full of bone. The rice was severely undercooked. Ended up throwing it out and ordering a kebab. Terrible. Avoid!
