Great customer service. I entered the store distraught due to a suitcase I’d bought 2 weeks ago that had been damaged at Heathrow airport. I was also moving in 3 days time so I needed a suitcase that I could rely on. Whilst being recommended other brands that have a better guarantee, I also learned that the suitcase wasn’t the issue. I should have contacted Heathrow about the damage. Nonetheless, I was given quality customer service. They managed to calm me down, explain the process of how to claim damage when the airport is at fault, and also kept my phone safe after leaving it there. Unfortunately, I was rushing around that day!

The last time I visited Sands was in the 1970's with my Mum to buy a satchel for school. Today I made a return visit with my partner. We were both impressed with the variety and quality of the goods on display and the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The shop has maintained its traditional character. We are really pleased with our purchases. It was a pleasure to be able to buy from an independent local shop.
