Spent £50 on a knife here about 9-12 months ago and got told I could get my knifes sharpened anytime and it would be done the same day. Took that knife and three others to get sharpened and now being told it will take at least a week and it’s only on week days. This is the worst customer experience I’ve had in while in Crouch End. I clearly got told wrong information to get the sale… or they didn’t want to sharpen my knifes. Either way it’s not a place I will be going back to unfortunately.

This shop is well equipped with lots of nice products, some interesting cookery gadgets and cookery classes. However the lady who worked there when we visited recently was quite rude, she looked a customer up and down who picked up an item she accidentally knocked over and she very curtly asked my friend to move so she could speak to a much more important customer. Nice shop but this customer service has let it down.
