I was shocked when a company I was recently dealing with caused major problems with their fundraising activities and my ability to help them on the platform - which ended up costing me a huge amount of time and (more importantly, of course) money.     Seedlegals approached our young start up to help us with investment and SEIS stuff etc. However once on board, the support and service they initially sold was not there. They have a needlessly complicated platform with loads of further paywalls on top of what we had already paid. And most of the further mandatory paywalls are only to unlock one document or to access a part of the service that they should’ve included. The customer service team are nice, but when asking for help, they just send FAQ pages back, or just direct you to the platform with a link and some screen grabs of what to do. Which isn’t great. Needless to say that working with seedlegals has added more stress and complexity. Which is unfortunate because they are nice people and they have good intention. The ceo reached out to us, which was nice, but didn’t resolve anything. All in all, fairly disappointed in seedlegals.

    Their sales people are very proactive to get you on board BUT once joined, nobody contacts you as they had promised and the monthly subscription fee is suddenly 60% higher than what they promised. Most annoying of it all, the initial SEIS advanced assurance application document that you saved in your account is nowhere to be found! Emailed and called - no response. Hope you have better experience than what I did!
