Tried their beef & ale, roast chicken & mushroom, cheese & onion pies. Tastes good even after reheating the next day. Happened to be in the area, just dropped by to pick up. Friendly and helpful staff.

Absolute waste!! 0/10 😡 ordered 8 pies online and specifically asked for the meat-based pies to be packed separately to vegetarian pies due to my dietary requirements. They arrived contaminated in mixed boxes so had to through them away. If you are a vegetarian or have any special dietary needs, do not order from this company!!!! They do not care. Will not be purchasing again. Such a waste.

My wife went to visit our daughter who lives and works in Manchester and brought me back (to Spain)a steak and ale pie from GNP. Excellent quality, great flavours with the coriander and mustard seeds crust. Well recommended.

We found The Great North Pie Co. at Sticklebarn in the Langdales. George and Luke were working in 28° heat and were really friendly and welcoming. They had a meat and a vegan option on the occasion we saw them, I had the vegan Mac and cheese with curry sauce. The pastry was great and the curry sauce was spicy without being overpowering. The sauce for the Mac and cheese was also really nice, not powdery or lumpy, or too salty like others I’ve tried. Thoroughly recommend if you encounter this pair!
