Nice place for a great Sunday Roast. Dish, however, was better when I went for Shibden Mill Inn lunch in 2019. This time not that tasty 'optical' not 'optimal', roast a bit chewy, but Seabass starter excellent. Overall, slightly disappointing and definitely overpriced! Manfred Kleimann, Kassel, Germany Food & drinks: Dishes had been better some years ago. Today a bit uncompassionate, and overpriced.

Superb, a fantastic experience. Excellent staff, beautiful food and location, everything you would want. I would say the main meals are about 15% over priced, but of course that is subjective. Couldn't recommend highly enough, especially when the sun is out. My advice.....dont get greedy shibden, keep it local, keep it reasonable.

Great food. Very tasty, special and served with excellent service. This was for our daughter's 30th birthday. I can see why they have a wall full of awards. I had crispy pigs head starter, hogget main and a recently added banana panacotta, peanuts, Miso caramel. Yummy
