The food was a little underwhelming compared to the expectations the pictures on the website had set. I ordered the prawn pad thai and it was not one of the best I had, almost tasted burnt… my boyfriend ordered the traditional fried rice and couldn’t even finish it because he really wasn’t enjoying it. Bit disappointing overall.

Most of the food was good, pineapple rice lacked salt and when asked for some salt they took the whole meal to get it, when we had finished eating. The waiters excuse was that he was with another table, that’s understandable for a few mins, but the table had eaten, paid and left before he bothered to give us salt. Once the bill came, we asked to take off the service charge. He started questioning me, I said I don’t need to give a reason it’s optional as it states on the receipt and I don’t want to pay it. The second bill came back and he said next time you can only get takeaway, essentially saying don’t come back. Once we wanted to pay, I wanted to pay by cash, £20 and the rest on the card, the restaurant doesn’t take anything below £5 on card. So I gave him £40, he then told me we don’t have change, at this point I was fed up, and the man sitting next to us interjected and asked why don’t you have change you’re a restaurant, how can you treat customers like this. He ended up helping us with change, but it wasn’t enough. I found a £10 note in the end and gave the waiter £30 where he gave me all my change in coins. The total of the meal was £67 and we split it in 3. Not a small bill by any means. But as we were younger, we were treated much differently to the other customers.
