I bought my son a 2 hour SIMTrack experience for his 18th Birthday. He had a fantastic time, enjoyed every minute of it and hasn't stopped talking about it since. I recently bought a gift voucher from Simtrac for a petrol head friend of mine...the experience from start to finish was excellent, from the professional way my initial enquiry was dealt with, to the booking process and obviously the simulator session itself. This is a top end driver training simulator where you actually sit in the cockpit of a proper racing car and are given expert coaching from the in-house instructors, Adam, James and the whole team are on hand to provide you with a friendly knowledgeable and unforgettable experience throughout. My friend loved it!

It was definitely a worthwhile experience for my son who needed some professional preparation; their simulator providing real cockpit replication and the data logging software providing the full range of analytics. A productive session that was informative and progressed his technique. From his perspective, I could see he was fully engaged in the dialogue and analysis of the data traces with James and he learnt a lot, quickly. I could see he was both enlightened by it (i.e. adapting his driving technique based on the feedback and analysis after each drive) and moreover, he enjoyed it. It was also useful for myself as a parent to speak to both Adam and James about their own perspectives and experiences. Such was the progress, it made sense to return for a second session, to build on the first session's development. The tailored, personal training meant that my son progressed from exactly where he finished the previous session, maximised the circuit he was practicing on and quickly moved on to a very different circuit so that they could focus on different techniques with him. A very effective development path and methodology based on experience and expertise.

I attended a Corporate Event at SIMTrack earlier this year, and wanted to share what a fantastic experience it was. The welcome briefing (with bacon rolls & pastries) was very informative and the simulator sessions were incredible! Sat in the cockpit of an Aston Martin GT3 race car simulator, with one-to-one driver coaching gave me the insight and confidence to be quick on a race track. Once we’d all got to grips with the circuit, it was time for the competitive bit, with a Fastest Lap shootout competition between all the participants. We even had a turn at driving a simulated Ferrari Formula One car around Silverstone, which was just fantastic! We enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch before heading off in two groups for a very interesting tour of the Ginetta racing factory. It was certainly a day to remember, and one which I would highly recommend to any business looking to do something a bit different for a Corporate Event. Thanks to Adam & his team for their expert coaching and fantastic hospitality.
