Booked in for an acne consultation. When I was called to confirm, on the phone, they stated it would be a proper consultation lasting 40 minutes; I’d receive a proper skin analysis and advice on my skin type, what might be causing my acne and some product recommendations. However In reality, once I arrived I spent longer filling out the consultation form than I did in the consultation room. It was basically a chance for them to persuade me to buy the products they were selling and to book into treatments without really telling me anything. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. This also cost me £50! Luckily I only paid for the deposit - waste of money. I’ve had online skin face analysis provide me with more useful and comprehensive analysis.

Arrived at the appointment, unfortunately the place was so difficult to find. Two postcodes and both not working correctly. Rang to inform I was struggling to find it. No sympathy or reassurance just told they won’t see me. When I did arrive the receptionist told me they wouldn’t see me. I travelled over an hour to get there. Expressed my feelings, the reason and frustration to be told I should have arrived 10 minutes early anyway for paperwork which I wasn’t informed off. The lady after me was already in the consultation to which I was informed was still my time. The lady took over 10 minutes of my appointment. Still the receptionist was unhelpful even though the lady after me went in early using my appointment time. So why couldn’t I go in if she had my time??? I surely could use her time? The receptionist was blunt and told me I didn’t need to be so talkative about my frustration. Told me to sit down fill in the paperwork and maybe I could be seen. When I did the paperwork she responded you done then? This is was rude. I will certainly not be using the clinic. Was seen but the appointment was fast, literally 4 minutes, not friendly, blunt to the point. No warm atmosphere or helpfulness or reassurance. Told me it was my fault I was late but I rang ahead and explained. Traffic and difficulty finding the place should be taken into account. Clear and correct information should be given about arriving early for paperwork. It is not fair to told that I won’t be seen yet the lady after me was in my appointment time. Seeking advice else where.
