"Fair enough" they didn't enrolled me to the right course 3 times in a raw. In addition to this, my nutrition course was a complete waste of time. I finished in December 2022 and I am still waiting for an update despite me contacting my tutor over and over.

I finished the introduction to barbering course this week, and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had no previous experience, Ricky the instructor was very friendly and very helpful, my only wish is that the course was a little bit longer, I would definitely recommend it.

I started a spanish course which provided a spanish teacher great if I could understand what she was saying in English. I attended a few lessons but felt I was not going to learn in this class I asked for a refund of the future lessons I had paid for and was rejected. Also prior to the course starting the day I requested and joined was then cancelled and I got moved to another day. A sample lesson would be good before handing over your hard earned cash. Or better still go to Udemy great courses there for a fraction of the price, this is where I will now be finding a course to teach me spanish and the price I paid for 10 weeks I could download 6 courses at least and work in the comfort of my own home.

Have been learning here since 2020 . I completed introduction to hairdressing and barbering , level 2 understanding Autism and currently at the end of my level 2 barbering course . I will be doing level 2 Hairdressing in September. Liz and Ricky have been amazing , I've had my tough times , but they have both been really supportive and do all they can to help you through. The only downfall would be the lack of clients , but that is at no fault to the course or tutors , it's simply down to the delay in moving to the dolphin centre . Having said that, with a bit of effort and dedication I managed to find clients via social media. With any course , it has its good and bad days but with hard work and believing in yourself you will achieve your goals with the guidance and support of the brilliant tutors. I have also met some lovely people who I hope to stay in touch with in the future. As for the autism course , this was also enjoyable , although done online at home the tutor was still an email away for support and very helpful . I would say for anyone with mental health issues or disabilities, skills and learning is the best place to learn , the tutors are fully aware of your struggles etc and help to build of these as well as your confidence . Before 2020 I was socially isolated with no self esteem or confidence . Today I find it so much easier talking to people , I have grown in confidence both socially and in cutting hair. I have Liz and Ricky and the rest of the hairdressing / barbering team for that, they have helped me get back out into the world of socialising and have shown me I can achieve my goals even when I previously didn't have the confidence. I've been taught not to give up and believe in myself and it has changed my outlook on my future . Thankyou 👍😊💈✂️

I was doing the Level 2 barbering course and this course is great if you fit the mould, however I did not. I was the only male in the class and I was really singled out. The male teacher Ricky would be so nice to all the ladies and very chatty, however with me he was horrible and really didn’t offer any help. I was pretty much left in the dark about everything and in the end I was forced to just leave. Everyone would get so much help and get clients all the time and I was just stuck in a back room on the computer or cutting hair on a head block. Liz is the main teacher and she is better than Ricky but still not good, she told me very early she doesn’t think I will pass the course which instantly shot my confidence. I even had to get the line manager Cathy involved on several occasions, she is absolutely brilliant by the way, only good thing to come out of it. But I’m not going to say I don’t recommend the course because if your face fits, then you do, but if you’re like me a male who has disabilities and doesn’t look like a barber, they will just single you out and won’t bother with you
