First time visiting for my boyfriends birthday. We stayed in Deep Dale as the others were full, we loved it. Gorgeous inside, spacious and relaxing. Will be returning spring/summer time!

An excellent weekend escape, set on the edge of a beautiful village, near a lovely olde world, real ale pub and lots of walking opportunities. The Sheppard hut has a great, modern, compact design and equipped; though you might want to consider taking a water container. The collapsing, camping ones would be good and could be stored on top of the fridge, so not take up any space in the hut, where space is at a premium. You get your own bathroom behind the welcome hut and there are outdoor games for the kids to borrow, as well as DVD's, books and board games if the weather's poor. Not sure what it might sound like in a heavy downpour though. I have suspicions that it might be quite noisy as the hut has a metal exterior.
