Great venue in the heart of Brighton. Staff was pleasant and the comedy was very well priced. We didn't try the food - there's a fairly limited menu, but caters to most dietary needs. People around us seemed to enjoy it! Beer available in 4 pint jugs, and cocktails in 2 pint jugs, but there's a range of spirits and other drinks too. Bottle price for wine was pretty reasonable. Seating arrangement was a bit tight in places and some seating meant having to turn your chair around to see the comedy, but overall worked pretty well. We were in the basement room.

Went with my partner to watch a show in The Basement. Very good! There are 2 bars, one up, one down, with plenty of attentive staff. They take cash at the bar, which is a big plus for me, as I like to have the choice of payments. Food is lovely. We had burgers in the diner upstairs before the show. Tasty and hot, and I love the option of swapping a bun for a salad. Lovely helpful staff. Might just make this place a regular haunt.
