From entering the Byebrook branch, I was greeted and given an excellent 1-1 service. I was able to speak about my preference to be able to wear, reading only glasses for long periods. Suggestion after having my eyes tested was to try half frames. I now have a pair of glasses that I am very happy with.

Not good. It isn’t the friendly atmosphere I’ve known at other branches. It’s freezing cold in there, I had to keep my hat, coat and scarf on waiting for my proper test. This was after I had the tests in the main area; I’d been asked to put my chin on the plate then the operative kept raising the machine higher and higher until I couldn’t stretch any further and had to remove myself from the plate. I said I couldn’t reach it that high. She kept having issues with the machine and it was moving about a lot when I had my head in position. This gave me neck pain to add to the cold I was feeling in there. The whole experience wasn’t good. The glasses quality has been rubbish for years so I buy online as I do contact lenses, but the general service also seems to be in decline if this branch is anything to go by. I’d recommend going elsewhere. I also wouldn’t recommend completing one of their questionnaires as these are not dealt with in the confidential manner you’d expect or as is standard with most if not all other surveys.
