Eye testing side was fine. The reception was poor. Told to take a seat, 10 mins later I get told I'm 10 mins late. That did not go down well.

I purchased two pairs of French Connection variofocal glasses, one pair of normal and one pair sunglasses. The lenses of my normal variofocal kept falling out. I went down and was greeted by a very well presented lady, who apologised and explained that the lenses were not suitable for the frames, and said that she would sort out the issue. I went back as agreed and was told, we have thrown them away, you can select a pair from the £99 range which offered a free pair of same range. I felt, because I'm disabled and get really confused that I was taken advantage of ,no apology whatsoever.I paid for quality and was fobbed off with rubbish. It is only now,a few years later, that I'm able to write this because of a brain injury which has improved slightly. I didn't mean to even give one star. I've was a customer for approximately 20 years. Not anymore.

Visited once for an eye scan and test. The optician was informative, friendly and efficient! It's a smaller branch than most but doesn't feel confined. Not as much choice of frames, but excellent customer service.
