Welcoming staff who know their products, are very helpful but not pushy, allowing customers to wander and look at the merchandise without being hassled every 5 minutes. The store is my adult son's favourite place, so we spent a long time there trying to find the perfect outdoor wear for him. A great selection of clothing, with prices ranging from reasonable to expensive. There is also outdoor equipment on sale, some lovely ideas for cookwear, plus dried food packs and all sorts of knives for various activities. Even if you aren't buying, an interesting store to look around.

I've been shopping at this store for several years now, both online and in-store. It is a fantastic outdoor gear store for camping, bushcraft, survival, etc. They know their target market and always have the best gear, and at reasonable prices. Nine times out of town, after I've done research on some type of item and decide which brand I want, they carry it. They sell quality items that people are looking for, not cheap tat. And they are so laid back and friendly. As a gear junkie, I love to go there and just mosey around and look at everything, and have a chat with staff. Inevitably, I buy something. They have their own line of products now (have for a while, actually) and they seem to be very good quality, including knives. If you're looking for a bushcraft knife, they have a vast selection. You can't go wrong here. I really love this place.
