A tiny, plain rectangle of a 12th century church, standing to the rear of its 19th century replacement among a wilderness of overgrown churchyard. An unmissable piece of history in a bland suburb, its walls partly made of Roman tiles foraged from some long-forgotten villa as one of my photos shows and its timber belfry, shown in my other photo, containing the oldest bell in north-west London, cast in 1349.

Sadly closed when I visited. Through the main door was open but the inner glass door was closed. But interior was seen bery beautiful. Also has a graveyard adjoining the church grounds. Both worth a visit. Return visit (Friday 5th August) attended Morning Prayer which is live streamed. St Andrews is a beautiful church small and compact but rich in stainglass windows and furnishings. As I said previously. St Andrews is a beautiful church well worth a visit.

We attended this church on Easter Sunday evening. Natalie Jivan was very lively with spiritual Hindi songs, then dinner & Garba dancing. It was a blessing 🙌 & joy to worship with them
