Nice to visit the historic parish church of Cayton, St John the Baptist, on a Heritage Open Day. Dating from C12 & grade I listed for its Norman architecture, there are some interesting facets: graffiti dated 1678 carved in a lintel, a Georgian house organ & a thank-offering clock.
